摘要: Structured sparse optimization has been extensively applied in the modelling of many important problems in various disciplines. The mix sparse structure is inherited in a wide class of practical applications, namely, the sparse structure appears as the inter-group and intra-group manners simultaneously. In this talk, we will discuss the nonconvex regularization method for mix sparse optimization problem, as well as a first-order iterative algorithm, and present its consistency theory, asymptotic theory and convergence theory. Applications of mix sparse optimization method to gene regulatory networks and differential optical absorption spectroscopy will be presented.

特聘教授，副院长，博士生导师，香港理工大学兼职博导，兼任中国运筹学会数学规划分会青年理事主任，中国运筹学会算法软件与应用分会常务理事，中国运筹学会科普工作委员会委员，广东省运筹学会副理事长。主要从事连续优化理论、方法与应用研究，代表性成果发表在SIAM Journal on Optimization, Mathematical Programming, Inverse Problems, Journal of Machine Learning Research, Bioinformatics等期刊，授权多项国家发明专利，开发多个生物信息学工具包，先后主持国家自然科学基金优秀青年科学基金等10余项国家与省市级科研项目。
