That would serve as an introduction to the very interesting and broader topic of the analysis on homogeneous groups (i.e., nilpotent Lie groups with a dilation structure), one of our current research focuses in Göttingen (for instance, we held already two spring schools on that topic //jaeh.cc/SS2022/index.htm, //jaeh.cc/SS2024/index.htm). One objective is to study PDEs (such as the Schrödinger or the wave equation) that involve the sub-Laplacian (if the group is stratified). Especially charming is that this is an area where harmonic analysis and microlocal analysis meet.
