摘要：A (topological) map is a cellular decomposition of a closed surface. A common way to describe maps is to view them as 2-cell embeddings of graphs. A Cayley map is an embeddings of a Cayley graph. The studies of regular (Cayley-) maps are related to factorizations of groups. In this talk, some recent results on factorizations of groups will be introduced.
报告人简介：杜少飞，首都师范大学教授、博士生导师，1996年获得北京大学博士学位，1998年到首都师范大学工作，1999年评为教授，2002年担任博士生导师。主要研究领域为有限群论以及图、地图等组合结构的对称性研究。现任国际期刊Journal of Algebraic Combinatorics和Ars Mathematica Contemporanea的编委。到目前为止， 在Journal of Combinatorial Theory Series A、Journal of Combinatorial Theory Series B、Combinatorica、Journal of Algebra等国际权威杂志上发表论文60余篇；先后主持国家自然科学基金面上项目、教育部重点项目、国际合作项目等科研项目十余项。
