Abstract. In Descriptive Set Theory, Borel reduction is a useful tool to characterize the relative complexity of equivalence relations from vary branches in mathematics. In recent years, many logicians worked on this topic and many interesting results were founded. In this talk, we will give a survey on this topic, from the beginning to some brand new results.
