摘要： 归纳和归约是人们处理问题的两种基本思想，离散优化问题广泛存在我们的生产生活中。本报告将简单介绍一些离散优化问题，通过举例来说明如何用归纳与归约思想进行算法设计以及数学应用。

教授，院长，国家高层次人才计划入选者，主要从事图论和离散优化方面理论和应用研究。 2020年获得上海市科技进步特等奖和萧树铁应用数学奖，2021年获CSIAM首届数学落地成果奖和华为优秀技术成果奖。现为中国数学会常务理事、中国工业与应用数学常务理事、上海市工业与应用数学学会副理事长等。
摘要： Turán-type problem is a fundamental problem in extremal graph theory. It attracts more and more researchers’ attention. In this talk，we first introduce some classical results in this fields. Secondly we will give some new results of ours to display the internal relationship between the Turán type problems and spectral Turán type problems. At last we will propose some further research problems along this line. This is a joint work with Xingyu Lei, Shujing Miao, Wanting Sun, Wei Wei and Yuantian Yu.
个人简介：李书超，理学博士，教授，博士生导师，主要从事组合数学、图论及其应用方面的研究。主要成果发表在Advances in Applied Mathematics, European Journal of Combinatorics，Journal of Algebraic Combinatorics, Electronic Journal of Combinatorics, Discrete Mathematics等国际重要期刊上。先后主持、完成国家自科项目以及省部级项目多项。教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”入选者，主持完成的课题“图的几类不变量的研究”获湖北省自然科学三等奖。
