Hall algebras and quantum symmetric pairs

摘要:A quantum symmetric pair consists of a quantum group and its coideal subalgebra (called an i-quantum group). A quantum group can be viewed as an example of i-quantum groups associated to symmetric pairs of diagonal type. In this talk, we present a new Hall algebra construction of i-quantum groups of Kac-Moody type. In the procedure, a new kind of algebras, i-quiver algebras, is introduced. In the case of symmetric pairs of diagonal type, our work reduces to a reformulation of Bridgelands Hall algebra realization of quantum groups using arbitrary quivers (not necessarily acyclic), which also is a generalization of earlier constructions of Ringel and Lusztig for a half of quantum groups. This is joint work with Weiqiang Wang.


报告人简介: 卢明,四川大学数学学院,教授。研究兴趣为代数表示论与李理论的交叉研究。曾访问德国比勒菲尔德大学、美国弗吉尼亚大学、德国斯图加特大学。2018年,与弗吉尼亚大学王伟强教授发起i-量子群的Hall代数实现和几何实现的研究,并取得突破性进展。目前已在Proc. London Math. Soc., Adv. Math., Comm. Math. Phys., J. Algebra等国际著名数学杂志上发表论文多篇。
